Phew! I've never uploaded that many submissions at once! Just got back from a trip to Ireland and the UK. I've never thought to submit my photography here before, but I spend quite a bit of time getting some of these shots. I love taking macro shots of flowers and what have you. Since my parents bought me a semi-decent camera, it make things a lot easier. I'm just a hobbyist, of course, but it's a lot of fun. Perhaps I'll dig out my photos of the alps and put them up as well.

So I'm finally a salary-earning employee. I will be beginning an orchestra program at a brand new intermediate school come fall! In the meantime, I'm feeling completely uninspired in the cake department. Which is odd, since I couldn't put the fondant away last semester... I need some inspiration. I'm considering an MST3K cake, specifically, Tom Servo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Servo Unfortunately, something like that is way beyond my current caking skillz. I really need to just open up Microsoft Word and get typing. I have a research paper due a couple of weeks from now, and I'd really like to not be cramming it in right before the deadline. I'm about 3 sources short of a complete bibliography. If you know any good books about operetta, die Fledermaus, Strauss, or popular music in the 1800's I'd be indebted to you. As it is, I'm just going to have to hack it. Schön.
